Fitness Journal For Motivation And Accomplishment

I can’t think of a better to to stay on track with your fitness goals than writing them down, being accountable, and rewarding yourself for a job well done. A diary that only you can see, and look back on when you are having a moment of self doubt, which we all have. It’s also a great way to see how far you have come and where you want to go.

Accountability

Logging your workout is a great way to hold yourself accountable, especially if you work out alone. Write out your planned workouts in one column and then the other side, write down what you actually do. Even if you don’t complete an entire workout, you can still see what you accomplished for that day and adjust your weeks accordingly to keep on track to reach your goals

Reflection

Feeling down? Had a bad workout? Been there done that, like most of us. Writing it down can be a great way to reflect on how you are doing when going for your goals. That one not so great workout won’t seem as bad when you can look to your journal and actually see just how great the rest of the week has been.

Progression

If you are feeling stuck, or hit a wall, your training journal is a great way to change that. Keeping track of your workouts will help you up your workouts in a safe way and remind you of all the progress that you have already made. It’s also a great way to remind yourself to push forward and keep on going!

Celebration

Have you hit all of those planks like you wanted to? Celebrate! A training journal is a great way to remind yourself that you did it! Did you record all of your completed workouts? Use your journal as a way to celebrate your big and small accomplishments. You’ve earned it. Remember, you are still smoking out everybody who is sitting on the couch! You can also use this to put in pictures of yourself, both before and after.
